paulgeorge! has landed. his first solo excursion anywhere! and abroad!

at first, before he came, i was quite nervous. i was scared living in such tight quarters would cause unreasonable, unyielding verbal battles resulting in a few moments of physical battle, then riding the remainder of the evening out in silent, angry anguish.

but! on the contrary! aside form the occasional squabble or bit of tumult, we're getting on famously.

i've been taking him leisurely around. we're seeing the city slowly. which is the best way to do it. and getting him acquainted with what my new life is like in the newest member of the family: berlin.

it's reassuring, having him here and seeing him enjoy his time here.

it's also funny to say things like 'yeah, but this is my house and i would like if you respected the way i live and how i have things here.'

before we've only known living beneath a shared roof provided and made warm by someone else.

we're going to try to make it to poland while he's here. but we'll see how that all plays out. currently, we're finding ourselves quite content under the influence of berlin.
