In true "Teal George" style, I'm already having to figure out loopholes to make sure my stay and legality as a paid, working guest in the land of Germany is legit. I started out just fine, coloring inside all of the lines, double checking, putting ducks in rows... and I was actually surprised by my cooperation with protocol. However, this past week I received a phone call, and essentially found out that even though I did everything they asked me to do (and in the correct manor of doing so), I should have just done it the half-assed, cheaters way...because that's how every one's doing it. (seriously.) That's what the consulate representative told me almost verbatim.
I'll save the details... and long story short... (and roughly 300 dollars, 150ish miles on my car, and months of paper work later...) I'm still going. Same everything. Except I'm doing it the only way I know best - through beating the system and doing it my way. I'm going to legally "cheat". (For more details, feel free to e-mail me.)
Anyways ---
I really just want to show mah bebeh girlz. (soon to be "grrl"z.) = )

Welcome to the bureaucracy!!! It appears that you have learned what's important in matters like this and that is to just make it happen. Aside from that, I would love to hear the details of your attempt to navigate international logistics more effectively!
Hey Teal, I got my blog up and running, you should check it out!! Medium 5!!
